About
The Little Ones expansion is available now as an in-app purchase! "If you've not already played this brilliant, heart-wrenching game, then mobile is as good a place as any to let it completely destroy you." - , 9/10, Pocket Gamer UK "This War of Mine isn’t exactly “fun,” but it’s definitely a game worth playing." , 9/10, 148apps In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle. The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive. Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better. Key Features: • Inspired by real-life events • Control your survivors and manage your shelter • Craft weapons, alcohol, beds or stoves – anything that helps you survive • Make decisions - an often unforgiving and emotionally difficult experience • Randomized world and characters every time you start a new game • Charcoal-stylized aesthetics to complement the game's theme The Little Ones: The newly delivered expansion explores the hardships of wartime survival as seen from an entirely new perspective―that of a child. This DLC puts you in charge of a group of adults and children stuck in a besieged city, struggling with basic necessities. TWoM: The Little Ones focuses not only on the reality of enduring war, but also on how even in times of conflict, kids are still kids: they laugh, cry, play, and see the world differently. In addition to thinking about survival, you'll have to summon your inner child to understand how to protect the little ones. Their youth, and their future, are in your hands. • Experience the biggest expansion to This War of Mine • Protect innocent children • Craft toys, play with kids, and be the caretaker they need • Meet new adult civilians in scenarios with children Expand your This War of Mine journey with This War of Mine: Stories Ep 1: Father's Promise. It tells a story of a family’s struggle to preserve the last pieces of humanity in times of despair and cruelty. Great game but crashes make it pretty unplayable. The game crashes on my Samsung Galaxy s20 whenever I do combat and sometimes randomly. Very annoying since combat happens at night while the checkpoints are in the morning. I sometimes lose 10 to 20 minutes and it makes me not want to finish it.. :(

2024: got new phone so thought let's replay this game. Crashes abruptly during gameplay hence cannot continue further. I've cleared data, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted device but nope. Not working. I've sent a mail to the support email. Let's see... Edit 1: received reply from support and replied back with bug report as they requested. Will update further.. edit: latest update has fixed crash. Tested okay. Thank you team.

The game itself is amazing. Art style, great gameplay and a challenging experience. BUT, THE CRASHES!! OMG it is infuriating. You scavenge at night doing well then bam! Game crashes and you have to start the day all over again. This happens all. the. time. I would 5 star this game but unless the crashes are fixed its staying at a 2.

In terms of actual game play, this is one of the greatest game I play. Even though I rarely feel immersed in a video game, this game still attracted me and I spent days playing on it non-stop, I would give this game 5 out of 5 if there isn't this major hindrance. The game just crashes wayyy too often, especially when I uses guns: Whenever I shoot someone, there is approximately 70% chance of crashing, even if it doesn't, I would experience some major lag that is no better or worse than crashing.

Been playing it on my Pixel 3 XL. It's probably the best mobile game I've ever played. It runs smoothly. Game is immersive and requires a collective survival effort from the players you control. It can get tense, desperate, tragic but it also has nice moments. The controls are great. I like the visual style and sound effects also.

I really love this game on android, I just wish the devs would add another mode/option to increase the days past the 30 odd days it takes for the war to end. Once you get used to the game it's super fun trying to survive with limited resources, but 30 days is just too easy after a few run throughs. Please devs, add an option for 50-60 days on android 🙏

Initial Review (2 stars): The game was looking fun but then my game kept crashing when I was entering combat. Don't recommend it. Will try the PC version to see if it has the same issue. - Edit: I played the game again after the latest uodate. I haven't encountered a single crash. One small bug I've found is when I have the game open and minimize it or lock my phone. The game gets stuck at a black screen and the only way to fix it is to restart the game, losing progress in the process.

Warning!!! to anyone Thinking Of buying this Don't. The Game doesn't even Start It just loops The intro Every time You click The Survive button to start the game. Absolute waste of money extremely disappointing Because I love the game on PC. It also seems the developer has abandoned The Game As it hasn't been updated in ages. There are too many problems on the mobile platform.

It would be great if it didn't constantly crash. I love the game on PC, but mobile the constant bugs take the enjoyment out of it. I've yet to play a run without experiencing a crash, if not multiple, forcing me to repeat the same gameplay again with random results. This is especially frustrating when the results end up less favorable than the original run. I wish they'd do something about it! Or at least add a save between Day/Night cycle to avoid some repetition when crashes happen.

This is a phenomenal game which I also own on PC. The gameplay is immersive and highly addictive. The issue I have is the game crashes consistently when in the Military Outpost. This has happened to me five or six times now. This location is essential due to the large number of resources. Can someone help me to resolve this? This would otherwise be a hands down 5 star review.
